Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Position Overview The Mechanical Reliability Engineer is responsible for enhancing the reliability of manufacturing operations within a pulp and paper mill. They develop and implement equipment care strategies, lead criticalities assessments, and champion asset management for critical equipment. The role involves developing predictive and preventive maintenance routes, supporting root cause failure analyses, and coordinating priorities with operations. They also oversee facility repair plans and participate in capital projects. Qualifications & Skills A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or 10+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing. Proficiency with Microsoft and SAP PM, strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are required. Key competencies include attention to detail, electrical aptitude, and managerial courage.
