Primary Responsibilities
- Inspect carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and specialty piping systems.
- Verify fit up, welding, flange makeup, supports, and valve installations.
- Monitor welding activities, preheat, interpass and PWHT requirements.
- Verify WPS requirements being met.
- Capture and witness Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) activities.
- Interface with construction, engineering, quality, and client representatives.
Civil Responsibilities
- Inspect foundations, pipe supports, pedestals, anchor bolt installation, and embedded items.
- Verify excavation backfill and compaction testing.
- Review concrete placement activities, reinforcing steel installation, and formwork inspections.
- Review concrete and grout placement cards and truck tickets for conformance.
Requirements
The candidate must be a Certified Welding Inspector. NACE/AMPP (coatings Inspector) and ACI (American Concrete Institute) credentials are a plus.
Qualifications
- Must pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test.
- Must have either OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or Safety Essentials certifications.
