Purpose Of Position

The Mechanical Quality Inspector plays a key role in maintaining our commitment to quality and safety. This position is responsible for performing inspections and testing at various stages of the production process to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on production floor and completed units
  • Conduct quality checks as assigned, including:
    • In-process inspections
    • Final product inspections
    • Gauge sign-in/out for production use
  • Assist in customer-required testing procedures, such as:
    • Sound testing
    • Water testing
    • Operational/run testing
  • Support production by addressing engineering and customer-related quality concerns.
  • Maintain inventory of quality-related materials (e.g., tags, zip ties, documentation).
  • Use and maintain measuring tools and inspection instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or their designer.
