We offer a unique, team-driven environment where your leadership and decision-making truly matter. As a field-based, on-site Mechanical Project Manager/Superintendent, you’ll oversee complex HVAC construction projects, coordinating diverse teams to deliver quality results on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine and understand the specifications of the project.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Hire staff and allocate responsibilities.
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
- Evaluate progress and document as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the HVAC/Mechanical field
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, material, and project management principles
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- A team player with leadership abilities
