Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring systems are properly integrated and fully operational.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement root cause solutions for recurring issues.
- Conduct inspections, performance testing, and system diagnostics on industrial machinery and robotics.
- Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and lifecycle performance.
- Partner with operations, maintenance, technicians, and external vendors during installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation for installations, service activities, and equipment performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or field service engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery operation, and process engineering.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead installations and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with operations, technicians, and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate documentation for installations, service activities, and equipment performance.
- Experience with industrial machinery and robotics is a plus.
