Mechanical Project Engineer

About the role

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm serving municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast, is seeking a resourceful, self-motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-10 years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects
• Acute analytical skills and capability to design and manage small to large projects
• Comprehensive technical background across all facets of mechanical engineering
• Excellent communication and writing skills for synergistic interaction with technical clients and co-workers/staff
• Software capabilities: Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design/energy analysis software (e.g. Carrier HAP)
• Strong working knowledge in the application of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, mechanical power systems, digital control systems, building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE
• Broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including architects and structural, electrical and civil engineers, to allow for effective, integrated and well-coordinated project design solutions

Preferred qualifications

• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY or PA (or eligibility to obtain)
• Additional industry certifications, including Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP

Pay

$90,000 - $105,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
