Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm, is seeking a resourceful, self-motivated, and experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. This position offers excellent career growth and advancement potential and is available in B&L's office locations in New York and Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- 5–10 years of diverse consulting engineering experience on municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects
- Acute analytical skills
- Capability to design and manage small to large projects
- Comprehensive technical background across all facets of mechanical engineering

- Chilled water systems
- Hot water systems
- Industrial process related mechanical
- Building HVAC
- Controls
- Plumbing systems
- Fire protection
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office platform, AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design/energy analysis software (e.g., Carrier HAP)
- Strong working knowledge in the application of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, mechanical power systems, digital control systems, building codes, and industry standards such as ASHRAE
- Broad familiarity with the work of other project team members, including architects and structural, electrical, and civil engineers
Qualifications
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY or PA (or eligibility to obtain) is desired
- Additional industry certifications, including Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP, are considered a plus
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $90,000 – $105,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
