Responsibilities

• Coordinate and work efficiently and in accordance with plans and specifications, and ColonialWebb fabrication standards; advise the respective Project Manager as conflicts occur.
• Document and provide marked-up submittals to Project Manager showing any modifications, or discrepancies related to inline duct and piping devices.
• Monitor and report to the respective Project Manager when coordination and detailing require work not indicated on the contract drawings.
• Generate full coordination drawings and provide all necessary paperwork to complete the task.
• Provide clear, dimensional, and accurate drawings.
• Visit job sites as necessary to complete work assignments.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner.
• Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency, but remain calm when handling emergencies.

Qualifications

• Possess field experience as a construction sheet metal mechanic or sheet metal foreman.

Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical piping principles.
• Ability to apply this knowledge to complex commercial piping systems.

Pay

$55,000 - $93,000

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary.
