Mechanical Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Troubleshooting and Repair
Diagnose mechanical and equipment issues and perform hands-on repairs to restore production equipment.
Repair and replace components such as bearings, shafts, rollers, belts, and similar mechanical parts.
Work inside machines and equipment to troubleshoot failures and implement effective repairs.
Perform machine changeovers, setups, adjustments, and die changes as required.
Preventive Maintenance
Complete preventive maintenance tasks and suggest improvements to PM documentation and processes.
Supporting Continuous Improvement
Participate in daily machine walk-throughs with Operators to assess equipment condition and address concerns.
Support TPM activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation and Communication
Accurately record parts, materials, and labor associated with maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership regarding equipment status and priorities.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must have close, distance, color, & peripheral vision abilities along with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
