Mechanical Maintenance Laborer

About the role

Employbridge is looking for a skilled laborer to assist the mechanical maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. Experience installing electrical and plumbing infrastructure as well as operating scissor lifts and forklifts is preferred. This is a four‑month project with full‑time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assemble manufacturing equipment according to blueprints and pictures of finished product.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects.
• Install electrical and plumbing infrastructure.
• Operate scissor lift and forklift.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Detail‑focused to ensure correct and safe assembly; able to identify and correct potential problems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and various hardware.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods.
• Problem‑solving skills to determine the best assembly approach.
• Math skills for calculating measurements and dimensions.
• Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Steel or composite toe shoes.

Pay

$25 per hour, weekly pay.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday‑Friday, full‑time hours for a four‑month project.
