About the role

The Mechanical Installation Technician 1 works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where they coordinate, install, de-install, relocate, and service upgrade high-value complex medical equipment. This includes various modalities such as AXA, AXD, CT, MR, NM, and related technical peripherals. The role requires up to 100% travel throughout the country and involves maintaining customer relationships, ensuring safety, and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain integrity of confidential information
  • Maintain customer relationships and comply with PROB SOP and policy, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory guidelines
  • Follow all safety OSHA guidelines
  • Ensure a safe work environment through safe work practices
  • Deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer
  • Aid the Team Leader in maintaining documentation in accordance with PROBO SOP and customer requirements
  • Represent PROBO and the customer in a professional and courteous manner
  • Aid the Team Leader in quality and compliance with PROBO SOP, customer requirements, and ISO 9001:2008, ensuring each process is followed by each team member
  • Aid the Team Leader in coordinating suppliers and helping with direct on-site deliveries of equipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Must meet minimum job requirements, lead at least one product family within a modality, be a role model for the team, hold a valid forklift certification, and have multi-modality coverage
  • Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED, Associate's degree (A. A.), or equivalent from a two-year university or technical school; or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 100% travel required
  • Work Environment: Monitor field safety and environmental conditions, lift up to 75 lbs, and work on ladders
