Job Description Job Summary: The In-Process Inspector inspects parts at various stages of manufacture and monitors compliance to Quality and customer requirements. Duties And Responsibilities Include Mechanically and visually inspect parts according to customer requirements.Inspects workmanshipFollow up with print clarification, IP form updates, router, print and MR sheet notesTrain shop floor employees and help set them up with the proper QC methods for each jobTrain shop floor employees on the best mechanical inspection methods and ensure the correct tools are available for each jobMaintain a clean and organized work area and maintain equipment usedMaintain a positive work atmosphere and communicating effectively with co-workers and managementEnsure that safe work practices are followed.Other duties as assignedKnowledge of various measuring devices such as calipers, outside micrometers, pitch mics, bore gages, pin gages, thread gages, test indicator, comparator and microscope. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
