Mechanical Inspector

About the role

The Mechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations. This includes inspecting new construction, renovations, and existing structures to ensure they meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new construction, renovations, and existing structures to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Communicate with contractors and property owners regarding inspection results and necessary improvements.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities related to building inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in construction or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
