Mechanical Foreman

About the role

As Power Design expands into mechanical work, we are seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead our new projects. In this critical leadership role, you will ensure projects maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll have access to innovative field technologies, including fully equipped iPads, and will travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility in St. Petersburg, Florida, for customized training courses.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades to oversee the assigned scope, including management of material and manpower
• Enforce and promote high quality and safety standards
• Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure projects are completed on time and exceed customer expectations
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope

Requirements

• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Progressive experience in Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leadership with a passion for technology and a desire for a clear career path
• At least five years of experience as a skilled field supervisor managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects
• Active journeyman or master license preferred
• Proficient knowledge of IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements
• Basic computer and writing skills
