Mechanical Field Service Technician Traveling

Position Summary: Phoenix Corporation is hiring a Mechanical Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, weld, and fabricate industrial spiral conveyor systems used in food manufacturing plants across the U.S.This is a travel-based, customer-facing role for mechanically skilled candidates who are dependable, professional, safety-focused, and comfortable working in demanding industrial environments.Employees may live anywhere in the U.S., as work is project-based and travel is fully company paid. Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain spiral conveyor systemsPerform welding and fabrication in the fieldWork directly with plant managers and engineersConduct testing, inspections, and quality checksTravel to customer sites nationwide Required qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work in physically demanding industrial environmentsStrong communication and professionalismAuthorized to work in the U.S.Must pass background check and hair follicle drug test Preferred qualifications: 2+ years of industrial mechanical, maintenance, millwright, field service, or equipment installation experienceWelding/fabrication experienceExperience with calipers, micrometers, and mechanical troubleshootingManufacturing or food plant experience preferred Physical requirements: Lift up to 75 lbsClimb up to 50 ftWork 12-hour shifts as neededWork in hot and cold environments Benefits: 401(k) with matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceHSAReferral program
