About the role

DynaTen Corporation (a Comfort Systems USA Company) is seeking a Mechanical Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role supports the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, welding, prefabrication, and facility equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery including saws, presses, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, material handling systems, and other shop equipment
  • Maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems supporting fabrication, warehouse, and office operations
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for parts procurement, repairs, and maintenance support
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
  • Aid in installation, relocation, and commissioning of new equipment and facility modifications
  • Assist with facility upkeep and routine maintenance activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance, facility operations, and maintenance effectiveness
  • Represent DynaTen in a professional and positive manner
  • Work independently and manage priorities effectively

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or facility maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and facility maintenance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments
  • Basic mathematical, reading, and English language skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing priorities and workload

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification, vocational training, or trade school education in mechanical, electrical, industrial maintenance, or HVAC disciplines
