Mechanical Engineering Manager

About the role

The Manager of Mechanical Engineering position at Formlabs is seeking an experienced individual who can lead and develop our rapidly growing team of talented mechanical engineers. This role involves working on the entire life cycle of products, from initial sketches to final ECOs, and driving the team to hit program milestones.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of your time being an active contributor in product development
• Help the team navigate design tradeoffs and ship the industry's best products
• Constantly question product assumptions and help scope mechanical engineering work to a finely focused edge
• Drive the team to hit program milestones, provide input to program schedules, and actively work with cross-functional leaders to develop products more efficiently
• Hire the best engineers and help them reach their highest potential
• Constantly improve the results and outputs of the mechanical engineering function
• Influence product strategy
• Influence how Hardware Engineering functions holistically

Requirements

Pay

The Annual Base Pay Range For This Role Is $160,000—$280,000 USD.

Full-time position.
