The role involves working on cutting-edge geospatial technologies, developing innovative solutions for clients across various industries. Responsibilities include designing and implementing complex algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality projects on time.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex geospatial algorithms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Develop and maintain software applications
  • Contribute to project documentation and presentations
  • Stay updated with the latest geospatial technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in geospatial development
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Experience with geospatial libraries such as GeoPandas, Shapely, and Folium
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or Mapbox
  • Knowledge of geospatial data formats like GeoJSON, KML, and Shapefiles
  • Understanding of spatial databases and indexing techniques
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
