About the role

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Innovation Project Engineering Team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. This paid internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist with project support while gaining valuable work experience related to your field of study. Our program is known for in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing, and other growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Join Innovation project teams and work on next-generation fabric tensioning solutions (FTS).
• Perform engineering calculations.
• Create product test plans to meet specifications and scope.
• Author test procedures.
• Build and assemble prototypes.
• Perform functionality tests on products.

Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level).
• Previous internship experience in a relevant function preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and attention to detail).
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Pay

Hourly pay rate of $21.00/hr.
