Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and optimize designs
• Participate in testing and validation activities
• Gain exposure to industry-standard tools and software

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field
• Must graduate December 2027 or later
• Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
• Honeywell Aerospace is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position
• Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements

Skills

• Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Familiarity with product testing and validation processes
• Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

The hourly base range for this position is $25.00 – $45.85. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
