Mechanical Engineering Intern - Fall 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test prototype machine systems, working with senior engineering guidance
• Analyze machine performance to develop and implement solutions to industrial scale metal 3D printer systems
• Support the engineering organization through various parts of technical development

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
• Ability to work with multiple different teams in a cross-collaborative environment
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience
• Exposure to manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with CAD software

Additional Information

This is a paid co-op/internship opportunity starting in August/September 2026 and will last for 3 months. VulcanForms offers a competitive salary package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. The hourly pay range for this position is $24–$27.
