Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, structural mechanics, and beyond.

What You'll Do

  • Design Advanced Engineering Problems — Craft challenging, graduate-level problems across domains such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis), heat transfer, kinematics, thermodynamics, and material science to rigorously test AI performance
  • Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions and benchmark responses that AI models use as a foundation for learning
  • Audit AI-Generated Technical Content — Evaluate AI outputs including CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications for accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., ASME, ISO)
  • Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors in AI-generated engineering reasoning — such as incorrect force distributions or energy conservation violations — and provide structured feedback to improve model performance

Who You Are

  • Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes
  • Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely in writing
  • High attention to detail when reviewing mathematical derivations, unit conversions, and physical system constraints
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
  • Proficiency with engineering software such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ANSYS
  • Familiarity with evaluating AI-generated code or computational workflows
