Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced tooling systems for aerospace components

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to optimize tooling designs
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and drawings
• Perform root cause analysis on tooling failures and implement corrective actions
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in tooling and manufacturing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in tooling engineering
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
• Experience with material science and understanding of metalworking processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards
• Experience with CNC machines and machining processes
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
