Mechanical Engineer PE I

Responsibilities

• Signs and seals engineering documents.
• Analyzes, develops, and evaluates systems.
• Improves and maintains current systems or creates new projects.
• Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field, and manages projects.
• Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
• Handles complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer License (PE).
• 4-6 years of experience.
• Possesses working knowledge of the subject matter.
• Displays critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Has strong mathematical and computer skills.
• Shows technical expertise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Is detail-oriented and capable of tackling various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Can perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
• Can ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Can climb stairs.
• Can move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
• Can repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Can operate machinery and/or power tools.
• Can work in outdoor environments including exposure to precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.
• Can work in noisy environments.
• Can perform light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from 20-100 pounds.
• Will spend 5-10% of time traveling to job sites/offices.

USD $103,175.00 - USD $132,810.00 /Yr.
