About the role
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-trade engineering and construction contractor providing comprehensive engineering, design, construction, and maintenance services. This role will support projects from initial concept and engineering design through construction, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and experience working in a construction, engineering consulting, industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment
- Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications, plans, and technical documents
- Experience in electrical contracting, electrical construction, project coordination, or project management
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and safe electrical work practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably within engineering, construction, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or facilities environments
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering principles, and construction practices
Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and safe electrical work practices
