What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related STEM/technical field
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
- Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
- 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- US citizenship is required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Experience in rugged chassis enclosure design for electronics hardware, including mil-spec connectors, coatings, and hardware for MIL-810 applications
- Experience in designing chassis to survive MIL-810 testing including shock, vibration, salt fog, and submersion
- Experience working in additive manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, soldering, and welding
- Experience setting-up, operating and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes, and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (e.g. crimp/solder harness assemblies, PCB surface mount component rework, epoxies, and composites)
