About Veev

Veev is leading the transformation of the construction industry with an innovative approach to modular home construction. Veev's prefabricated closed-panel systems allow homes to be assembled efficiently on-site while delivering a more sustainable and higher-quality final product than traditional construction. As a new subsidiary of Lennar, Veev leverages the strength and scale of its parent company while maintaining the speed and disruptive approach of its roots as a Silicon Valley-based startup. Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multidisciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

The Role

This role plays a key part in advancing Veev’s mission by ensuring mechanical designs are accurate, manufacturable, and seamlessly integrated with adjacent systems. • Working knowledge of mechanical systems design, with exposure to MEP-related components (mounting, routing, interfaces, coordination).
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings for manufacturing and installation.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and production workflows, with the ability to design for manufacturability and assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to develop highly structured, scalable CAD models that support reuse, standardization, and downstream manufacturing workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple design tasks in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Competencies

  • Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) or equivalent proficiency.
  • Experience with sheet metal and CNC-based designs.
  • Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems, engineering change processes, and BOM structuring.
  • Experience supporting MEP-integrated mechanical designs in a production setting.

Education & Experience

  • B.Sc. or an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a certificate from a known establishment in a relevant field.
