We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on ITAR-compliant projects (US Citizen or Green Card Holder only).

About the role

The majority of your time will be spent in the office, with frequent collaboration on the production floor during design changes or testing phases. The role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to work on innovative products, particularly for military and defense applications. Responsibilities

  • Design parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Perform engineering analyses and simulations.
  • Support the production floor with design changes or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the testing department to develop and build test protocols.
  • Utilize ERP systems for data management related to products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field; co-ops and internships may count.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
  • Experience in mechanical design, particularly with metals, fabricated, and welded machine parts.
  • Understanding of GD&T and electromechanical design.
  • Knowledge of machine building, welding, or fabrication methods.

Pay

$29.00 - $38.50/hour.

This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position based in Cleveland, OH.
