Mechanical Engineer Internship Summer 2027 - New York, NY
About the role
PAE is an engineering and design firm that turns complex challenges into reality, leveraging the latest technologies to solve problems uniquely and enable buildings and communities to be more resilient and efficient. As a B Corp, PAE measures success by the benefits its projects provide to clients, communities, and the planet, embracing innovation, transparency, sustainability, and lifelong curiosity. The internship program provides hands‑on experience in sustainable engineering design over a 10‑ to 12‑week paid period. Interns learn the building design industry from a traditional viewpoint and the PAE and LUMA way, working directly with engineering and design teams on projects ranging from small retrofits to high‑profile Living Buildings, gaining insight into the full design process—planning, execution, and problem solving.
