Co-op term: June 2027 – December 2027
About the role
We are seeking a spring intern to begin working full-time onsite from June 2027 to December 2027 in Greenville, TX.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
- Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
- Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field
Preferred Skills
- CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms
- Ability to apply the principles of Structural Mechanics to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities
- Familiarity with finite element methods and fatigue
Schedule
9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off.
