Responsibilities
- Participate in day-to-day engineering operations and projects that shape the future of Miller Electric Mfg. Company.
- Explore and contribute to specific engineering disciplines such as power, control, communication, packaging, magnetics, and thermal.
- Develop creative problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Learn and apply industry standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within engineering processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering University or Technical program, having completed at least your Sophomore year.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Prior Mechanical Engineering intern experience is a plus.
- Experience with Solidworks software is advantageous.
Skills
- Interest or experience in areas such as FEA, CFD, sheet metal, plastics, castings, heat transfer, magnetics, generators, IC engines, or electronics packaging.
- Ability to identify and act on opportunities for enhancement and change.
