Mechanical Engineer Intern-1

About the role

Indorama Ventures is seeking a Summer 2025 Mechanical Engineer Intern. The internship runs from May to August, dependent on the school calendar, and is structured to equip interns with the skills and experience needed for a successful career. Under close supervision, the intern will provide technical support to assigned area(s) and, after an initial orientation, will be assigned to either Project Engineering or Reliability Engineering. At the end of the internship, the intern is required to present a project assignment to the Site Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in performance of assignments, both project and day-to-day workings of engineering.
• Provide status updates to mentor/engineer on project assignments.
• Under management supervision, ensure that activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality, and responsible care requirements).
• Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed.
• If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives
