Our client, a leading company in the energy and advanced manufacturing industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be part of the Repair Engineering and Manufacturing Support organization, supporting Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions. Job Title: Mechanical Engineer II - Manufacturing & Quality Support Location: Greenville, SC Pay Range: $51.30/hour What's the Job? Manage repair qualification activities while ensuring compliance with engineering and quality standards. Investigate and resolve Repair Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs) to support manufacturing and repair operations. Support Built-In-Quality (BIQ) initiatives and drive process improvements throughout the operation. Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Repair Technology teams to improve repair processes and quality outcomes. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, and continuous improvement initiatives. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. Experience supporting a manufacturing, production, industrial, or repair environment. Strong understanding of quality systems, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and process improvement methodologies. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical engineering drawings. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, gas turbines, power generation equipment, aerospace manufacturing, or advanced repair technologies is preferred. What's in it for me?
