Mechanical Engineer[Graphic Design]

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementation of design and copy changes directed by the MPS Packaging Team via the Labeling Change Request Form, making sure they are within Client’s Corporate Identity Guidelines.
• Work within a cross-functional project team.
• Familiarity with product structures.
• Packaging graphic drawing revisions.
• Creation of product illustrations.
• File collecting.
• Creating PDFs.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
• Assists in implementing consistency across all levels of packaging within corporate identity guidelines.

Qualifications

• BS, BA, BFA degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and 2-4 years graphic design-related experience working on MAC and PC platforms.
• Proficient in Adobe CS6 and above: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat.
• Proficient in Microsoft Programs 2010: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of printing process including all associated prepress work and file preparation.
• Detail oriented person with strong people skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Previous experience working for a medical company is a plus.
