Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes, methods, and other data to provide management with reports on data and statistics for better understanding of future manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all government laws and regulations regarding manufacturing processes.
- Liaise between departments to promote an efficient and organized manufacturing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) operation.
- Coordinate and ensure adherence to manufacturer’s procedures and instructions to maintain production equipment operational.
- Plan workflows to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Participate actively in Lean projects and activities such as 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), etc.
- Serve as the point of contact for the facility HSE calendar.
- Act as a subject matter expert for audits, change controls, and regulatory submissions.
- Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Show high attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Understand and apply basic Lean Sigma concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Identify potential environmental and safety aspects and design processes to minimize their impact.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Engineering or 4 years of manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to present information to top management.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks like frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbols in their most difficult phases.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
Skills
- Basic Lean Sigma concepts, methodologies, and tools.

Schedule
Standard work hours will consist of eight hours per day, five days per week on an assigned shift. Schedule hours may be altered as required by business conditions. An ability to work overtime or irregular hours to include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays is essential for this position.
