Mechanical Engineer

About the role

You will work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. You will design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
• Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
• Produce outline designs
• Conduct methodical experiments, analyze data, and interpret results
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs
• Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
• Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety
• Alter and modify designs to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions
• Estimate budget and scope of project
• Prepare product reports and documentation
• Engage in learning and developing new theories or methods

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 6+ years’ mechanical engineering experience
• 4+ years’ experience with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools
• 4+ years’ experience with mathematical computing and analysis tools
• 3+ years’ project management experience
• 2+ years’ experience in an engineering leadership role

Skills

• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and drafting procedures
• Excellent prioritization and project development
