Mechanical Engineer
About Us
Royal is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on an extensive construction program at Tyndall AFB, FL. The assignment will last one year (base) and two optional years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Evaluating technical documents, such as design blueprints and product specifications, to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Providing clear and concise responses to inquiries from contractors regarding the design, function, and installation of mechanical systems.
- Managing and responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) from various stakeholders, clarifying project details, and resolving any ambiguities.
- Conducting on-site inspections of mechanical installations during construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Criteria for Joining Our Team
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer license
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer on large, complex, multimillion-dollar DoD construction projects
- Experience with Resident Management Systems (RMS) and Microsoft Office experience
