Mechanical Engineer

What You Get To Do

• Own mechanism design from initial concept through build, test, and customer deployment.
• Work on a wide range of engineering problems including electro-mechanical design, fluid systems, test and validation, and electrical thermal management design.
• Create real robotics solutions to address major humanitarian concerns and contribute to advancements in food technology.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of perception engineers, controls, mechanical design, and software architecture.
• Travel to industry customers to visit aquaculture farms and boats on the east and west US coasts, as well as Mexico.

What You Will Need

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in physical prototyping, mechanism design, and miscellaneous mechanical engineering projects.
• Experience with CAD tools such as NX.
• Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication methods, and rapid prototyping.
• Exposure to robotics or embedded systems is a strong plus.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in El Segundo, Los Angeles.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, but more is preferred.
