What You Get To Do
- Own mechanism design from initial concept through build, test, and customer deployment.
- Work on a wide range of engineering problems including electro-mechanical design, fluid systems, test and validation, and electrical thermal management design.
- Create real robotics solutions to address major humanitarian concerns and contribute to advancements in food technology.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team consisting of perception engineers, controls, mechanical design, and software architecture.
- Travel to industry customers to visit aquaculture farms and boats on the east and west US coasts, as well as Mexico.
What You Will Need
- B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in physical prototyping, mechanism design, and miscellaneous mechanical engineering projects.
- Experience with CAD tools such as NX.
- Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication methods, and rapid prototyping.
- Exposure to robotics or embedded systems is a strong plus.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in El Segundo, Los Angeles.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, but more is preferred.
