MECHANICAL ENGINEER

About the role

Hydro Engineering, located 40 miles southwest of Minneapolis, is a manufacturer of large agricultural and water transfer equipment. We are searching for a talented, mid-level Engineer to add to our current, exceptional team. Since we are a small company, a potential candidate will work with all areas of engineering, i.e. design/development, testing, quality analysis and manufacturing. This position provides a rare opportunity to work with, and be mentored by Hydro’s CEO, a proven and successful business leader. This position also allows working in other areas of business outside of engineering.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of agricultural and water transfer equipment
• Perform testing and quality analysis on engineering projects
• Collaborate with the CEO for mentorship and leadership insights
• Support other areas of business outside of engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software
• Experience with project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
