Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this is a mid-level mechanical engineering position where the individual will review customer technical requirements, design electromechanical components and assemblies, create engineering drawings, and provide production support for product build. This position ensures the design projects are completed according to schedule and meet the customer requirements. The position will be responsible for internal company support and overall quality control of engineering deliverables. This position will also be the technical point of contact for the design projects assigned to the individual. Job Functions Work with Engineering Manager for project assignment.Review the customer Technical Requirements for the assigned design.Communicate clearly with the electrical and software engineers to develop the overall design.Assure compliance with DRM, project requirements, and design requirementsSupport regular product design reviews.Develop mechanical and electromechanical products.Assure quality of engineering deliverables.Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.Perform engineering calculations to support design work.Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
