Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks for developing new products and driving cost reduction, including conceptual design, detailed drawings, and compliance analysis.
• Manage small product development projects, create and maintain schedules, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Identify new product opportunities by understanding customer needs and evaluating market trends, while proposing innovative solutions.
• Provide product support through troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining technical standards, all while staying current with industry advancements and Graco’s evolving product line.
• Perform product development tasks, including participating in the development of Product Specifications, producing conceptual designs, creating detailed design drawings, and identifying applicable standards.
• Conduct design reviews and safety reviews, and work with manufacturing on process development.
• Lead small new product development projects as required, completing project feasibility studies and Pre-Production authorizations, creating and maintaining project schedules, and managing projects to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of all development steps, identify and communicate threats to schedules to appropriate management, and participate in release-for-sale activities.
• Direct and perform standard product support activities, including analyzing and writing Engineering Change Orders, troubleshooting product issues in manufacturing, lab, or customer sites, and initiating corrective actions.
• Work effectively in a team environment and contribute to knowledge development, applying knowledge of Graco customer applications and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
• 3+ years of experience in new product development with demonstrated repeated success producing innovative and successful products.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent engineering/technical aptitude.
• Accelerators Global industrial manufacturing experience and knowledge.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $67,500.00 - $118,100.00.
