Mechanical Engineer

About The Role

EnerVenue is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with excellent problem solving skills who is detail oriented and a great communicator. As a member of a team of engineers responsible for the execution of Research and Development projects, you will apply solid engineering fundamentals, knowledge of the product, material science and manufacturing processes to complete projects with a favorable outcome for the company. Project status and results will be communicated clearly and concisely to the relevant team leaders within the company in a regular and punctual manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in the design, development, and qualification of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, composites, and/or energy storage systems.
• Experience using CAD and GD&T to produce production-oriented 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Familiarity with material science and the appropriate material specifications.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and automation.
• Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Ability to interact effectively with suppliers, partners, vendors, and colleagues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
