Mechanical Engineer
About the role
Opportunity Endeavour has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that’s on a journey to transform the world’s infrastructure. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and support Product Development for Edged Infrastructure and TurboCell.
Responsibilities
- Support the product development life cycle of TurboCell and other durable goods in the power infrastructure space.
- Generate drawings, BOMs and product data documentation.
- Perform product analysis, develop testing parameters, and generate DFMEA and DVP&R documentation.
- Upfit facilities for product development and oversee the fabrication of prototypes.
- Maintain clear documentation of activities and results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, manufacturing teams, and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in the product development of durable goods.
- Experience in high and mid-volume products, as well as power switchgear and power electronics.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
- Strong understanding of NEC and UL methods and practices (e.g., UL2200, UL9540).
- Ability to generate product specifications, design documentation, and lead design reviews.
- Experience with 3D CAD Modeling and drawing creation (SolidWorks preferred).
- General good communication skills and the ability to articulate designs effectively.
- Safety mindset aligned with lab and facility protocols.
Skills

- Remote work model, or a hybrid setup if located in Raleigh, NC.
- Expected Travel: Up to 25% if located in Raleigh, NC; up to 50% if fully remote.
