MECHANICAL ENGINEER
About the role
DEFELSKO CORPORATION is a leading manufacturer of inspection instruments used worldwide in the corrosion and protective coatings industries. Based in Ogdensburg, NY, DeFelsko Corporation is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to ensure product quality through precision measurement, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operates and programs CMM and inspection equipment
- Performs SPC, MSA, calibration, FAI, and PPAP activities
- Analyzes quality data and supports root cause investigations
- Interprets engineering drawings and GD&T
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of manufacturing quality or related engineering experience
- CMM programming and precision measurement experience preferred
- Metrology experience a plus
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
