Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, planning, design and construction of manufacturing equipment
- Developing process improvements
- Initial design and production process creation for new products for sale
- Audit products for customer applications (product development requests)
- Assist accounting when developing cost models for new processes and/or improvements
- Develop test criteria for acceptance of new equipment
- Support production processes
- Researching, approving, qualifying new production equipment purchased from outside vendors
- Up to 10% Travel to support sales or customer testing
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- One to three years of design experience
- 3D CAD experience (Autodesk Inventor)
- Experience with statistical process tools
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Works in an office and production environment
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Valid Real ID license
