We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design. The ideal candidate will have working familiarity with SolidWorks and a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, including sheet metal, plastic injection molding, extrusion, and 3D printing. This is a support-oriented role requiring clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. The Mechanical Engineer will assist in the design and production of both new and existing products under the guidance of senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Utilize SolidWorks to assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Produce detailed assembly drawings, formal drawing documentation, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Support the management and maintenance of design data using PDM/3DEXPERIENCE platforms, following established processes.
- Apply developing knowledge of sheet metal, plastic injection, extrusion, and 3D printing design guidelines to support manufacturability.
- Assist with hands-on prototyping efforts, working closely with internal teams to build and test designs.
