Mechanical Engineer 1

Essential Functions

• Aid in developing and executing plans for assigned programs and projects.
• Collaborate with customers to address complex technical and quality issues.
• Support scale-up of new processes and optimize existing processes.
• Coordinate and oversee capital projects from planning to completion, including project charter creation, vendor selection, and stakeholder presentations.
• Lead process improvement and capital equipment project teams.
• Evaluate and approve technical drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
• Regularly update managers and other stakeholders on project statuses.
• Offer operational support during post-startup troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in project management and product/process development engineering.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

Pay

The compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range is between $70,000 and $87,000.
