This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, focused on maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. You will provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems at a Data Center facility in Colorado City, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in mission-critical enterprise environments with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Conduct daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems, respond to BMS alarms, record UPS/PDU meter readings, monitor HVAC systems, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Follow established procedures, complete planned preventive maintenance (PMs) on schedule, maintain comprehensive maintenance records, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) for documentation and communication.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills, including guiding teams, conveying performance expectations, and motivating impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Apply strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Schedule

  • Dayshift position with 12-hour shifts on a 3 on / 4 off / 4 on / 3 off rotation.
  • On-site presence required at the Data Center facility in Colorado City, TX.
