Mechanical/Electrical Assembler

About the role

We are hiring a First Shift Mechanical/Electrical Assembler for our busy manufacturing department. This position is working on one of our many product lines using hand and power tools to put together a boiler from scratch. Cross-training on multiple stations and products is our practice.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to assemble boilers from scratch
• Work on one of our many product lines
• Participate in cross-training on multiple stations and products
• Work Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Dependable
• Ability to be flexible on working overtime

Pay

$1500 Sign On Bonus! Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

First shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of overtime on Fridays.
