Mechanical Designer/SolidWorks

Key Responsibilities

• Review sales proposals, estimates, quotes, customer plans, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Work with project teams to ensure proper design representation of equipment size, function, and process design.
• Develop General Arrangement Drawings to communicate critical design details to project teams and customers.
• Create fabrication, installation, and assembly drawings for use by internal production teams and external fabricators and contractors.
• Ensure that manufactured equipment aligns with project requirements and standard designs.
• Absorb and contribute to the development of new standard product offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing in SolidWorks
• Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks is required
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
